Oral, H. Barbaros

Barbaros Oral studied medicine at the Uludag University Faculty of Medicine, Bursa, Turkey (1982-1988). He became a specialist in Infectious Diseases and Clinical Microbiology at the same university in 1998. He obtained his MSc and Ph.D. (1992-1997) at the Imperial College of Science, Technology and Medicine, the University of London, UK. He has been a professor at Uludag University since 2008. Prof. Oral have published over 50 papers in peer-reviewed journals and various book chapters in the fields of microbiology and immunology.He was also on the editorial and reviewer boards of several scientific journals. His main research interests include gene and/or dendritic cell-based treatment of autoimmune and inflammatory diseases, including rheumatoid arthritis and psoriasis.
