15 Doctoral ITN positions, INsTRuCT Consortium, Europe

15 PhD positions in various countries in Europe are available in a new EU consortium, INsTRuCT. This is an Innovative Training Network (ITN) for basic, translational and computational immunotherapy funded by the European Union Horizon 2020 Programme. It focuses on fundamental research and the clinical translation of myeloid cell therapy for autoimmunity and organ transplantation. Thus, depending on the project for which you apply, your thesis may bias more towards fundamental or translational research. This is a unique opportunity to do a PhD in an excellent consortium and you will be offered insights into other labs and other areas of research, such as research in companies.
There are a few requirements if you are interested in applying:

  • You have not been resident in the country where the host institution is located for more than 12 months in the 3 years before recruitment; so, for example, you cannot apply for the position in the Netherlands if you are currently studying there.
  • You have to be available for a personal interview for each of the positions at the INsTRuCT recruitment meeting in Barcelona, 23-25 March 2020.
  • You have to be available to start your project no later than 1st September 2020.
